Logport has a world champion in track cycling

Our colleague Marek Volf won the world championship title at the UCI Masters 2024 Track World Championships held in Roubaix, France. We are not only specialists in developing modern park buildings, but also a team of sports enthusiasts, and we are proud to support our colleagues in their sporting achievements as well.

Marek, who works as a project manager in our company, became world champion in the Masters category (M35-39) in the discipline “team sprint”. This race was the main goal of his training and together with three other team competitors they achieved an outstanding success, winning against strong international competition.

In total, more than 500 competitors from five continents took part in the championship, which lasted from 5 to 12 October and included several disciplines. In addition to the team sprint, Marek competed in other events including the 1km fixed start race, where he came seventh, the sprint, where he finished sixth, and the scratch, a mass start race, which he finished eighth.

His success in track cycling is a huge achievement not only for him personally, but for our entire team.
